do they work? (if you don't know, invisalign is the company that makes clear, retainer-like braces). i'm thinking of getting them, but i don't know how well they work. i don't want to have to get braces after i'm done!

The technique is applicable to a vast variety of orthodontic issues. The only way you will know for sure if you're a candidate is to make an appointment with a doctor who's been trained in the program (not just any dentist will do...they have to get a special certification).

It depends on how bad your teeth are, they will only move teeth a maximum of 1 mm, while braces can do more as they draw strength from the back molars. If your teeth are horrendously crooked, get braces.

Invisalign works very well. How ever, it is not for more severe cases.

i believe they're for small, minor changes. so if you're teeth are quite crooked then they're probably not for you. if you're not sure your local dentist/orthodontist would know.
