Yes, Romans 12 tells us not to follow the standards of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that we can know what God's will is for our lives.
We must follow Christ unreservedly in order to know true freedom. He deserves of our best, after all - He gave of His best for us!

Yes, I truly understand this, and I agree with you completely. The perfect will of God isn't this unreachable goal and this mystery that we have a difficulty figuring out. The will of God is to follow Him with our whole minds, hearts, and bodies. That is the will of God. However, I do think that as Christians we argue way too much about what this statement means and what it doesn't mean. We argue about what means being in the world and what doesn't. We need to learn to be more compassionate and loving towards all of humanity and each other. That is the way that others will know we are Jesus' disciples. That is what Christ said -- love everyone.

Americans have a little problem with that scripture. (Other countries probably do too, I'm speaking for my own little slice of the planet.)
Our capitalist society is based on being "of the world," otherwise you wouldn't work quite so hard...maybe spend more time with your family or religious denomination of your preference...and the economy would sputter.
Jesus asked His apostles to give up everything and follow Him...EVERYTHING. Of all the Christians I've known in my lifetime, only one couple actually did this to become missionaries. Their families went crazy and many people thought they were freaks.
But I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you must be one of these self-sacrificing folks or you wouldn't have posted this particular question.
In short...we don't do that here.

Yes,
Matt 6:33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
I do understand this.. I love God with all my heart and soul..it doesn't mean that i am perfect but with his love in time i will be perfected when i am call to heaven, he tell us to be separate from this world.. Not to walk after the flesh but the spirit in doing so you will not satsified the flesh but the spirit and fulfill all the laws.. God is great and i can do nothing but love him.. I am reminded every moment of his goodness and mercy.. Without him I can do nothing,, with him i can do all things..

Definitely.
We have to live on this world of course, and use some of it's resources. But we should not let that overcrowd our reasons for living. We should realize that Jesus himself was no part of the world, in the sense that he proved to conduct himself differently.
We should likewise not be a part of the world in that we do not use it to the full. Don't get overly involved in the worlds activities and such.

Sounds like He has self esteem issues to me.
doesn't he allow room for questioning or honest doubt? He needs fanatical love instead?

Sorry, but my God is both in AND of the world, and so am I. Don't you understand that there is no separation between the world, the deities, and us? It is an illusion that there is ANY difference among us.
