HELLO JEANINE,

WHAT MOST PEOPLE FAIL TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT ALCOHOL IN THE BODY ACTS AS A POISON. YOUR BODY HAS TO USE A SPECIAL ENZYME CALLED ALCOHOL DEHYDROGENASE TO DILUTE AND PROCESS THIS POISON THOUGH THE LIVER.
TOO LONG OF A TIME DRINKING BOOZE CAUSES LIVER DAMAGE, CALLED CIRRHOSIS AND POSSIBLE LIVER FAILURE.
SO THEN, DOES MORE ALCOHOL RE-HYDRATE YOU?
NO, IT JUST MAKE YOU MORE DEHYDRATED.

In my case it would re-hydrate my body with the Minimum Daily Requirement of vitamin ethanol. It's also very good exercise for the liver muscles!

I've done that. You get really drunk really fast (not the enjoyable kind of drunk), then you feel like crap, pass out, and feel worse the next day.
