You'll see a lot of people say they have tax payer id #s but in reality, illegal aliens are unable to apply for individual tax payer id #'s because they are unable to confirm their immigration status. They have no visa's, they have no identification (that is not falsified) to support the fact that they are in this country legally. So if they are paying taxes with an ITIN, they are doing it with false documentation- What are the chances of that really? I'd say pretty slim. Illegals will falsify documents to make sure they pay their taxes despite the fact that they will not be eligible for the EIC and therefore will more than likely not get a refund but they won't take the time to bother to get in this country legally. Sounds like somebody is trying to fill our heads with BS, about illegals paying taxes doesn't it? Please see below: ITIN An ITIN, or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, is a tax processing number only available for certain nonresident and resident aliens, their spouses, and dependents who cannot get a Social Security Number (SSN). It is a 9-digit number, beginning with the number "9", formatted like an SSN (NNN-NN-NNNN). To obtain an ITIN, you must complete IRS Form W-7, IRS Application for Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (PDF) . The Form W-7 requires documentation substantiating foreign/alien status and true identity for each individual. You may either mail the documentation, along with the Form W-7, to the address shown in the Form W-7 Instructions, present it at IRS walk-in offices, or process your application through an Acceptance Agent authorized by the IRS. Form W-7(SP), Solicitud de Número de Identificación Personal del Contribuyente del Servicio de Impuestos Internos (PDF) is available for use by Spanish speakers. Acceptance Agents are entities (colleges, financial institutions, accounting firms, etc.) who are authorized by the IRS to assist applicants in obtaining ITINs. They review the applicant's documentation and forward the completed Form W-7 to IRS for processing. NOTE: You cannot claim the earned income credit using an ITIN. Foreign persons who are individuals should apply for a social security number (SSN, if permitted) on Form SS-5 with the Social Security Administration, or should apply for an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) on Form W-7. Effective immediately, each ITIN applicant must now: Apply using the revised Form W-7, Application for IRS Individual Taxpayer Identification Number; and Attach a federal income tax return to the Form W-7. Applicants who meet an exception to the requirement to file a tax return (see the instructions for Form W-7) must provide documentation to support the exception Another thing : Illegal aliens employed in the corporate sector, actually put on an employers payroll, manage to do this by using a false ssn# so any Social Sceurity or Medicare withheld are applied to either someone else's account or a non existent account. The fact that they will never be able to collect on it, is irrelevant. I am an American citizen and when I retire in 35 years, unless there is a major overhaul of the Social security system, I won't collect what I legally paid in and neither will anyone else. Check the last statement you recieved from social security admin, it'll tell you that the benefit amount listed is subject to change. They manage to avoid paying federal withholding by claiming 5+ dependents on their W4 at the point of hire. So no federal withholding is withheld from their paycheck. They fail to file their taxes at the end of the year- so therefore they never pay their federal tax bill. I have gone on long enough- but these illegals ain't paying federal income taxes . ADD- ITIN are not proof of employment eligibility- they are not interchangeable with SSN# for employment purposes.

Can you get up at 5 am and work all day in the sun @ 100 degrees plus, on your knees picking onions. Hahaha. how about cuting lawns all day 6 days a week. You are to ignorant to understand that with aminesty the DMV will make more money with IDs and DL. More taxes will be paid and the US will be more secure because you KNOW who is here. Go back to school. O plus is not free therefore more jobs will be created to push the paper work and there is fees for every thing when it comes down to INS.

Unlawful Entry is a CRIME. Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators! No amnesty, no "stealth-amnesty." No "change of status," marriage fraud, "exceptional leave to remain," no "Temporary Protected Status." If you break the law, depart or be deported. Illegal aliens kill more US citizens each year than the war in Iraq has killed in four years. Apologists for illegal immigration like to paint it as a victimless crime. But in fact, illegal immigration causes substantial harm to American citizens and legal immigrants, particularly those in the most vulnerable sectors of our population--the poor, minorities, and children. Additionally, job competition by waves of illegal immigrants willing to work at substandard wages and working conditions depresses the wages of American workers, hitting hardest at minority workers and those without high school degrees. Illegal immigration also contributes to the dramatic population growth overwhelming communities across America--crowding school classrooms, consuming already limited affordable housing, and straining precious natural resources like water, energy, and forestland. Taxpayers are being forced to pay for the free health care, education, and other welfare programs being given to illegal aliens; Those tax dollars could be given back to U.S. taxpayers or used to keep our borders secure; They may be here illegally, but they sure know how to "work the system" to collect "free" medical care, "free" education, "free" food, Section 8 housing vouchers and other housing assistance, and hundreds of other social services. It costs citizens additional hundreds of billions of tax dollars at every level: local, state, and federal. It gobbles up billions of our charitable contributions. And much of that money ends up siphoned out of our economy and into offshore accounts. Illegal aliens, over half of whom work "under the table" with neither job nor income reported (nor taxed), are not counted as employed or unemployed. But some of those day-labor and off-the-books "job-lets" would be "real" jobs - available to American citizen job-seekers - if employment regulations were enforced. Illegal aliens can get away with tax evasion, et al., which citizens cannot. In short, we have too many workforce entrants and too few jobs created. The ratio works out to roughly 7-10 workforce entrants per job created. If all illegal aliens depart or are deported, all legal immigration halted, and all temporary employment visas abolished, we still have a problem with more US-born workforce entrants than new jobs created. Illegal immigration damages our country and our citizens every day at every level. And not even the attacks of 2/26 and 9/11 have awakened many Americans to the vast dangers illegal immigration poses to our selves, our families, our communities, our society, our values, our principles, our civilization. Zero Tolerance for Immigration-Law Violators! We must remember the lessons of 2/26, 9/11, and the costs we bear every single day. God Bless the U S A !

We have at least 12,000,000 million of human being that are doing the work that most of us don't wont to do.
They live, for the most part, in underrated homes with higher
cost of living than anybody cares to know.
Some of them are exploited, unprotected by social benefits and definitely underpaid
If 12,000,000 million human beings start paying taxes, money will pour the coffers. Please write our honorables ( who at times forget to represent us), not to spended it in frivolities and in favoritism.
Since you have a fillings for what is just, why don't you stop paying taxes for this senseless war in Iraq. That is big money.

You're going to pay taxes whether you like it or not.
Otherwise you are usurping the government. You don't want to do that.
