Let me tell you something! Those people who laugh at you are only doing so because they have regret in their own hearts and are not happy with themselves. I have personal experience with people like that, too. I was a virgin until I was twenty and, even though I'm not married, I don't regret it! I would never laugh at anyone even if they were 60 and still a virgin. I admire people who don't just give it up. You just remember to feel pity for the people who laugh at you. They are the ones with issues.

becasue there losers. not every1 goes about sleepin wid da first person dat dey see or first person that tells them that they like dem. some people have morals and decide to either wait til there married or until they meet the right person and theres nothing wrong with that. we live in a society that is so judgemntal its unbeliveable and people make big deals out of the littlest things.

if a person doesent want to have sex til they are married what s the big deal. they shud b praised for making such an important choice without people laughing and talking about them behind there backs. and usually the people that are laughing are the people that have never ever made descions as important as these they are the kind of people that have one night stands and cant remeber what they did with the person the night before. its nice to have morals i think its important as well, its give u a clearer sense of who you are.

there nothing wrong with not having sex til you are married i actually think that it is the right thing to do. alot of christians wait til they are married becasue it says so in the bible. when you have sex out of marriage that means you are joined to the person in some way. its not a good idea it better to be married and then experience all the physical stuff.

That's a simple one to answer. They laugh to cover up the fact that they were not strong enough to be abstanent. Also, it may be because they aren't real strong believers. I said maybe! Not all believers abstain either. If your being laughed at, hold your head high! Your doing a great thing and it'll pay off on your wedding night. My hat's off to you. Glad to see a someone trying to be abstanent. Oh yeah, it is quite possible also that those that laugh are being abstanent but not by choice, so they try to make themselves more important by lying. You know, saying that they have 'done it' before but haven't got a clue as to what it's about. I think most of it depends on their age / level of maturity.

Because they believe in the "Try Before you Buy" philosophy. I don't laugh at those people. I didn't save myself for marriage, but I married the only guy I've been with and vice versa...so it's kind of the same thing. All my friends are envious of me and wish they would have done the same. I think the people that make fun actually regret a lot of the things they've done in the past.

Cos its different from the majority of ppl nowadays & of course they must be right, or so they think lol !!

That is because you are a minority in this country. This is not a bad idea to wait because sex is suppose to be a bond and not a bang bang and maybe I'll call you tomorrow.

It is great to hear there are people who have this moral idea still today.

I dont laugh, but it's a bad idea. One of the top reasons for marriages failing is sexual incompatability, which would be good to find out about before marrying.
