I am a Christian, because I believe in God and His son Jesus Christ. I am of no denomination and do not consider myself religious.
I do not currently attend a church, but when I did it was a non-denominational (charismatic type) church.
I believe in a personal relationship with God, and although I think that knowing God would benefit people I do not force my opinion, or preach it to people who wish not to hear.

I follow Hinduism, Worlds oldest and third largest religion, from 2500 BCE it is there in India, Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism are some of the famous religions born or evolved from Hinduism, Buddha was a Hindu, he studied Hinduism for many years and started propagating his own religion Buddhism.
Hinduism is said to be the most tolerant and most peaceful religion on earth. It is often misunderstood due to lack of knowledge over it. Historians say Greek mythology is inspired by Hindu Mythology.

I am a former Roman Catholic turned member of the United Church of Christ. The UCC has some very liberal members, some who are some what liberal and others who are conservative. We recognize 2 sacraments baptism & the last supper. All are welcome to the body & blood of Jesus. We were the first to ordain an openly gay man and an openly gay woman although now it varies congregation to congregation.
Some members are pro-choice while others are pro-life. Some believe in reincarnation and some don't.

I am Unitarian Universalist/Pagan. I am reading about shamanism currently, but also have an interest in Islam, Hinduism, and just about any religion that considers God to be beyond description, and so breaks divinity up into humanlike pieces (Allah and the 100 names, Brahma as being made up of several god-forms, etc).

To find out more about different religions, I suggest you head over to religioustolerance.org. They are comprised of a group of many different faiths, so the information given is unbiased. Plus, there is a lot of it and their site covers the minority religions as well.

I am a Catholic -- however, I have a personal philosophy that all humans believe in the same divine entity. I know Him as God, Muslims know Him as Allah, Hindus know Him as spirits of nature, and yes, atheists know this entity as well -- though by the name of 'goodness,' 'love,' or 'charity.'
Whether you call Him by God or love makes no difference -- just knowing and believing that one exists is enough.
