I really want to lose weight i am not big as a house but i want to lose a couple of pounds!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I tried every diet out there and you know what I found? being conscience of my food choices has really helped. I keep a food journal which helps with keeping me on track with endless snacking out of boredom. I didn't realize how much sugar and saturated fat I was consuming until I wrote it out. I've made simple changes that have helped me effortlessly lose weight. Here are a few besides the food journal.

I replaced all the sugar in my canisters with a mixture of half sugar and half splenda. I buy whole wheat bread and pasta. i buy everything I can reduced sugar and reduced fat. (Watch out for the sodium increase though!) I made menus of my meals so that I knew I was getting fruits and vegetables, not just meat and carbs.

Oh yeah, the biggest catch... you do have to exercise. I totally struggle with that, but it's a must. You can be skinny and not be toned. Good luck!

do at least 30 min. of cardio most days of the week (4 days or more a week) also do some resistance training 2 or 3 days a week. eat small portions of healthy food about 4-5 times per day to keep your metabolizm going. if you get into a routine including these things you'll be on your way!

It does require a combination of diet and exercise to loose weight. If you can't discipline your exercise, join a gym. Take care.
