I have a 6 month old male dog whose balls have not dropped yet. And a 3 year old female dog who is not in heat. However, I have noticed them doin' it doggy style and was wondering if it is possible for them to get preg. So, basically I have two questions 1) Can a male produce sperm if his balls haven't dropped and 2) Can a female get preg if she isn't in heat?

Yes and Yes. Just because your puppies testes haven't droped from the abdomen doesn't mean that they can't produce sperm. They are attached to the spermatic chord which is attached to the penis. And just like a person, you don't have to be ovulating to get pregnant. So it is possible for a female to become pregnant even when not in heat. It's especially true because dogs sperm can attach itself to the side of the uterine wall and wait for up to a week. So I suggest you take them in and have them neutered and spayed.

P.S. You said that your dog is 6 months. His testes should have droped by now. I would take him in to the vet and see what they think. Could be Cryptorchid and can be serious if left untreated. Good Luck.

A 6 month old male with undecended testicles wouldn't be likely to be able to inpregnate a female, however it is possible.
No a female can not get pregnant if she is not in heat.

Your male needs to be neutered asap..undecended testicles are a lot more prone ot becomeing cancerous then decended ones (even thouh an unaltered dog is at a higher risk for testicular cancer, prostrate cancer and infections and anal fistulas)
Your female should be spayed..the longer she is left intact the higher her risk becomes of getting mamamry cancer..by being the age she is now and unspayed her risk is a lot higher then it would be if she'ld had just one single heat cycle. Also the longer she goes unspayed the greater her risk becomes for pyometrai a very serious often fatal uterine infection.

the 1st it is: is that your domestic dog would have broken its hip whilst being out area and no person ever took care of that. once you depart a bone in a incorrect place it is going to heal that way. it fairly is one concept for you. the 2d difficulty is: Your canine would have pancreatitis. My canine had this and he or she became into puking each and every the place and fairly pooping gentle gentle bloody stool. My mom delivered her to the vet and he or she became into interior the ER for 2 days with IV's. the subsequent difficulty we had to do became into extensively replace her nutrition habitual. She is on an extremely stable canine nutrition now and is doing lots lots extra suitable. Her poo remains gentle yet for her age and whats shes been with the aid of, mines would be too :) i'm hoping your domestic dog gets extra suitable and do each and every thing a danger to maintain her alive, its very costly to place them asleep and intensely emotional besides :( in case you do unlike your Vet's opinion pass some the place else ; a canine could be like your newborn. wish this facilitates :)

Yes, it's possible.

Even though your male is only six months old and his testicles have not dropped yet, he is producing sperm at this point and could get your female pregnant if they tie. And yes, a female dog can get pregnant outside of her heat cycle.

My best advice would be to take both of these dogs, as they're both old enough, and get them altered as soon as possible. There's no reason to breed them if they are household pets, and altering will prevent you from having unwanted pups.

It is highly unlikely for a male that is a bi-lateral chryptorchid to be able to sire a litter. You should talk to your vet about neutering that boy, as retained testicals can end up cancerous later. A female should not be able to get pregnant when she is not in heat. Normally a female that is not in heat, will not allow a male to breed her.
