If I was serious about the person then it would make no difference to me - in fact I would respect them for sticking to their belief.

There's no right or wrong answer to this question. You need to do what feels right. Personally, I wouldn't have minded staying a virgin until I was married, however, things can be quite akward (especially for a girl) on the wedding night in that case. If a woman was a virgin on her wedding night then she may not want to do it a lot or for a long period of time. If a man is...well...he may not know where things go (exactly) unless he REALLY reads up on his stuff. It's no big deal for people who want to stay that way. It's definitely a personal choice. People have a lot of different views on sex before marriage (like being sexually compatible or maybe just it being akward). Truthfully, in my opinion, if you are compatible in all other aspects, sex is just a natural thing and being compatible in all other areas just makes it better. Make sure your partner is aware of you and treats you with respect.

If I like her, of course! The real question is WHY she is abstaining. If it is for moral, religious or health reasons, then great! If she has emotional issues, then that is a different matter. I don't want to date someone with emotional baggage.

Yes, I would respect their wishes, and abide with their religious beliefs. However, although sex is not every-thing, it is part of marriage, and couples have a right to know about the compatibility of their partner in that area of their lives. Why is he/she reserving for marriage? Is it purely religious beliefs?

I don't know if I would have. It's the abstaining from sex AFTER marriage that would worry me.

Yes because maybe you love them and if its just another relationship then get rid of them but if you love them you should wait for them.
