This is a strong possibility, all prayers made with a humble heart are heard but God has the right to say no as well as yes, we must trust that He knows the best thing in every situation.

God does not have to answer every prayer yes. He will answer a prayer according to what he feels best for a situation. For example If someone prayed for someone to die because they did not like this other person. God most likely answer this question...however i can not say because i am not God.

God does not say yes to any prayer. You are simply fortunate that what ever you are praying for just happens to be what he planned in the first place. That's why you only observe 'yes, no, or wait' answers. He could care less about your prayer, he has a WILL that must be done. Jesus may have told you that all you asked for in prayer would be done, but he really didn't know what he was talking about. When he got back to heaven, god sat him down and reminded him who the boss was, and revoked Jesus' ability to come to earth and spread more lies in his name.

As the song goes. Some of God greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.God has a reason for everything he gives you.Even the bad.It may be to make you understand a different view or to be thankful for something you didn't even realize you had. There is always a reason if you look real close.

Actually, (to me) it seems that God only answers prayers that would result in harmony, rather than disharmony.

its not a matter of competition. its a matter of praying according to God's will, and a matter of faith.

whatever prayers are not in line with those things (so to speak) dont even get on his desk waiting for his decision to grant or deny.

But if God flips a coin, won't he already know what the outcome is gonna be?

see it that way if you want. God can answer several people at once with different situations. but if they are different moral points of view, I guess it's a yes and no situation.
