you mean she keeps bringing one to you?? She may not want it. Some parents reject babies if there is something wrong with them or just because. Take the pup and give the mom some time then put the pup back in and if she takes the pup to you again then you should take the pup to the vet because she probably does not want to feed the pup or does not want it near the others. Just keep an eye on them and if you see she is not letting one eat or being mean to it then you need to separate that one and bring it to the vet for some test and some food. You could also buy some puppy formula at the pet store and feed the pup that. Maybe she want to give you one to take care of :)
Good Luck

I will try to help witha few idieas.
First how big is the mother can she handle that many pups. Also is she bringing you the same pup??
She may not be able to take care of all.
they may be something wrong with one or more.
A yorkies tial should be docked as soon as possible by a vet and you should make an appointment to have this done as well as having the mom checked and have the pups checked.
I always have replacement milk on hand if you notice that andy of the pupps don't keep the liitle full bellies they should be supplimented .
you may be lucky and she's just showing off her pups

Oh how cute! All the answer you've gotten so far can be correct, we just don't know. If she brings you the SAME puppy each time, you might want the vet to check it out. If it's different, she may need help or is just showing you her acheivement and it's quite an achievement! Tell her she's a good puppy and a good momma dog! Yorkies are so cute....

Are they bringing you the same puppy all the time, if so then it might be the runt of the litter and can't get in to get food from the mother. They could be bringing you it so you can feed it by bottle. But it could also be sick and they know you will take care of the puppy since you take care of them when they are sick. If the puppies are over 2 weeks old, take them all to the vet for thier check ups and see when they can have thier shots.

If it is the same puppy each time could it be that she knows there is something wrong with it and wants you to take care of it? Or maybe if she is really close to you she just wants to share them with you. But I am guessing that there is something going on with a particular one and she wants to have you help it or nurse it back to health for her.Good Luck and maybe you can ask the vet over the phone. Dont hurt to ask huh? God Bless!

All the answeres were good. Some times if she was your pet she wants you to have one. thank yher and tell her Good puppie. Do you have a good puppie box and put it back. Mostly watch that there is nothing wrong with it and she is rejecting it for a reason. Be certain it is warm and well fed and she will stop. I always praise the ***** with "good puppy box" so they think of the place it is with being good.

She most likely wants you to help her care for her pups. They are usually very important to her and she trusts you to help her.
You have got to keep a good eye on your baby and her babies to make sure one of them doesnt get hurt, sick, or injured. Check up on her and her pups every 10-20 minutes. When you were born, your mom probably asked her mom for help so it probably is the same case with your dog!

Hope this Helps!

i would go with there is probably something wrong and she is asking for help. Take EVERYONE to the vet together so the can all be looked at, not just the baby she brings to you. This will also set mom at ease if she is there with them. Good luck!

i lived in a neighborhood that had street dogs. there were also bats around the area and they would usually come and bite the small puppies. So this one dog who had just had some puppies, used to come to my neighbor's front door and bark to get her attention and then cry and get her attention to come to where her puppies were so my neighbor would see that one of her puppies had been bit. My neighbors and I used to take care of the hurt ones so she knew that if she got our attention to her puppy we would do something to help it. Maybe your dog is doing the same thing.

You have some fabulous answers here. congrats on the puppies. I would agree its either one of two things, she's showing off, or she thinks the puppy is sick and it needs medical attention. I would call your vet if it happens again. Best of Luck!
