It sounds like you've not been very careful with it.

Mine got infected when I got it done, but I have a skin allergy to anything besides gold, so that was expected. My body got used to the surgical steel after a few months. If you're wearing dangly rings then you have to make sure that the ball is screwed on tight and that the jewlery isnt so long that it will get caught on your belt or anything on your pants.

If you want it done again, go ahead. I think belly button peircings are sexy and feminine, just be extra careful.

Technically, you ought to get it pierced as many circumstances as you go with. The greater you get it pierced, permit it heal, and get it pierced back, the greater scar tissue you would be dealing with. for this reason, that is going to break greater every time you do it, and it will take longer to heal (if it heals in any respect). My advice to you would be, that earlier you come to a variety to take this new one out, ask a piercer whether that could be a solid theory. I had my navel pierced for a month and took it out simply by fact it wasn't pierced precise. Now I genuinely have a scar and in spite of the undeniable fact that i elect it pierced back, doubt that is well worth it.

From what I hear it is painful and both it being infected and ripped out I am sure was painful so I am thinking that is a decision you would have to make for yourself

i had mine done on 4 separate occasions & it was never right, so i just gave up on that one & started getting other piercings, as it obviously wasn`t meant to be!!! i luv the look of it & wish i could have one, but there`s no sense in pushing the matter, because for whatever reason my body rejects it...maybe u could choose another piercing???

Cancel w/ the belly button piercing..... try your tongue instead, it looks just as sexy....:) Hard to infect unless you don't brush your teeth or something....cant really rip out unless u do it on purpose...........

if you like having it done i would try the opposite side like if you had ur top done then try the bottom but i know that sometimes using a different style ring helps....
