Don't get me wrong I don't have a eating disorder. I gained 25lbs since my husband got back from Iraq. I do excersice and eat healthy but the weight is not coming off. My metabolism is slow. I don't believe in diet pills and feel the water pills are the only solution to lose weight.

Water pills are dieuretics. They only help you lose excess fluid. They do not make you lose any calories or fat. You have to be very careful using them--first of all, you need a prescription from a doctor. Second, water pills can start a nasty cycle of fluid retention. As soon as you get off the pill, your body regains the water you lost. So you actually look like you gained weight. Third, water pills can actually cause permanent kidney damage if they are not used properly.
Try some good old fashioned exercise and lower your calories intake slightly. Eventually the results will show.

only works to get rid of the water, so you get the weight back real easy.
count what you eat. Eat small meals, 3 times a day, no sweets, no sugar, no sweet drinks, nothing after 18.00. Sure, you'll feel hungry. If so, eat an antacid tablet or two.
best to start with no food for a week, that way you'll get rid of the hunger pains. Humans can go without food for 4 weeks with no damage. Just make sure you get plenty of water to drink
I lost 17 kilos this way since December, and the weight is stil down

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

Be careful with the water pills, they are harsh on the kidney's. I have a friend who ended up in the hospital with a bad kidney infection because she was trying to get rid of some water weight before going to Hawaii. She spent a week in a hospital in Maui and the vacation was over.

All you should do for a different result is drink a lot of water all through the day, and start eatting smaller more frequent meals and snacks every 2-3hrs. Just be sensible about not eatting to much fatty food.

Your metabolism slows when you are hungry and stores fat, you all so retain water if your dehydrating yourself. More frequent smaller snacks (fruits etc) with smaaler more frequent meals will keep your metabolism kicked up higher. Go hydration helps you break down the fats and toxins and flush it out. NO POP! add a modest regular excersize and you will start seeing much better result. Oh yes, add a daily multi-vitamin/mineral suppliment.

Water pills (or duiretics)will do the opposite. They deplete the body of water.Water is a strong tool in weight loss.Drink at least half your body weight every day.If you weigh 150 lbs, drink 75 ounces of water daily. It will make a huge difference.Water will flush out your colon, which is responsible for excess weight.Drink up and be patient.the slower you lose, the longer it will stay off.
