Hows this idea because of the many variations in religion and beliefs ..why not just a reflecting forum a place where we can come seek refuge and just talk of our needs, our troubles etc..and just let it be that ..to each his own interpretation..i believe god hears us all anyway..I'm having issues and sadly I'm losing my will..i have life issues ..and I'm not too sure of anything these days..so there you have it

Ideally it would be nice to have a sub section for this and how good would it be if by one persons prayer request legions of Christians sent up their prayers in response.
It cannot be done effectively in this main forum as apparently it is offensive to some people, strangely enough though filthy pics and dirty comments are not deemed offensive, boy the mind boggles!

This isnt a forum for prayer requests. It is a question and answer site. Not a request site. You can go to a prayer request site to request prayers. This isnt the Christian Prayer Request section, so kindly take your silly opinions and dont bother sharing them, as none of us are interested.

Yes agree, If you used a question though. we must show respect for the rules of the forum in which we are communicating. Otherwise there will be nothing to separate us from the lost people that post the vulgar, insulting, and cursing posts. We must strive to be separate from the action of the ungodly. For example:
Can the Evangelical Christa ins of this forum please Pray for the daughter of one of my sisters in the church.?
Her daughter is pregnant and might lose the child. Please remember her in your prayers.
If you post your prayers I will pray for them. Anything you don't want out on the streets you can email staib_ronald@yahoo.com

I don't see why anyone should have a problem with a question asking others if they will pray for something.
But bear in mind that eventually a "best answer" or "best prayer" will have to be selected, either by you or by vote.
I'm not sure prayers should be judged. Which one is "best"?
But that's just me personally.

I think that would be against Yahoo's ToS...and I don't bother your god at all...kind of hard to bother something that I don't believe in....this isn't the christianity forum you know...it is open to anyone of any belief or non-belief...I think there are plenty of christian only forums and prayer sites that you can go to if you don't want us *godless people* around...find them and go there....

This is not a prayer meeting. It is a question and answers site and everyone is entitled to air their opinions. I am a Christian and would not be happy if this site was used for satanic prayer. Your prayers should be between the Lord and you and not posted for everyone to see how holy you are. Jesus said, not to be like the pharisees, who displayed their scriptures and chanted their prayers for everyone to see and hear.

That really isn't the purpose of the board. Maybe you and your fellow Christians should start a prayer chain. I'm not without compassion, but c'mon. It's called Yahoo ANSWERS... not yahoo asks and hopes for an answer.
