My friend is in her mid 20's. She is 5'4" and weighs just under 150 pounds. The weird thing is she doesn't look like she weighs that much. She is very toned, doesn't have a belly or a double chin or anything. We both go for walks every morning-4 miles in one hour. She is a fellow teacher and is on her feet a lot. She also only eats about 1,400 calories a day. What bothers me is that she is always worried about her weight. She says that she is fat, but she looks wonderful and everyone tells her how perfect she looks. Do you have any suggestions on what I can tell her to make her feel better about herself?

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Honestly, you probably can't. Positive self-image is intrinsic. If something YOU could say would help, then it would have. She'll have to figure it out on her own, unfortunately.
