do you mean soap like barsoap?
When you use bar soap, it really irritates your skin and leaves it dry.
But in answer to your question:
If you're going to massage, don't massage hard. Or rather dont massage at all. Just gently move your fingers in a light circular motion.
I would keep the water hot at all times so your pores can open up.

No , something like this:
- Warm Water
- Clean&Clear Morning Burst [scrub!]
- Cool water to close pores
- Moisturizer

i use cold water
get my face loofa wet enoug
saturate it the loofa puff with enough oatmeal aveeno soap
exfoliate my face for 1 minute
rinse with cold water
then apply noxema for 30 seconds
rinse with cold water
pat dry my face
then apply my Eucerin moisturizer with spf15
and chill out

erm.. yeah. dont use anything except facial soap on your face.(duh) it could really break u out. try like 30-45 sseconds on the massage part. other than that ur cool!

its better to use a warm cloth to wipe off the soap but its ok not to
