It won't because then you have a stinky brown hand that has to be washed using lots of water, wasting that resource

Well, the pieces of poo you missed while wiping your butt can be used as fertilizer. But seriously, you won't save the planet, because no one else will be doing this trust me. Sheryl Crow might and all the other celebs are hoping on the Go Green train now but, soon it won't be cool to be green anymore. You can save the planet other ways, by recycling... whatever happened to recycling?

It saves trees, And trees to absorb things. The less things we use the more the environment goes to waste. You don't have to use one square, but don't keep wrapping the paper around your hand just to wipe the butt once. Ya know. Try to use what you need and not take advantage of teh situation.

Like most of the ideas of the global warming crowd it will do nothing (although I thought this one was a joke). Like the idea of incandescent light bulbs, people think they are saving the planet by using them but look where they are made, China. China announced that they will build 2 new coal power plants just to build more incandescent light bulbs factories, and China's factories don't have any restrictions on emissions unlike US power plants and factories. So keep it and "save" the planet.

some toilet paper companies such as klenex are tapping the worlds largest forest in northern canada for the use of tp paper, if they continue to do this, air will start to depleath causing even worse conditions in weather, heat, and well..........pollution. its so easy to ignore problems like this cause noone cares. just go back to your tv dinners and cell phones and take your mind off whats really going on.

that's stupid. don't fall for it. there are more threes in this planet than the combined number of 2.5x10^15 mol.
God has put all of the resources for our need. nothing will run out of use. how about all the people who have lived before us?

it won't BUT---
if you save all of your waste and build an anaerobic digester. You could convert your waste to methane you can then use the methane for heat electricity and internal combustion engines.
