A mix of the both, i also enjoy both forms on there own. Non are better in my view

What are you referring to when you say "classical" and "alternative"? By classical do you mean the Ancient Greek theatre of Oedipus Rex or Eugene O'Neill's Long Days Journey Into Night? And by alternative do you mean avant-garde, experimental stuff or are you referring to contemporary stuff like Stephen Adly Guirgis' Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train?

It's less over the top and seems to make much more sense than a lot of alternative works.

I'm afraid I'm not brave enough to spend my hard earned money on alternative theatre so I usually go to see the classical works.....Nothing against modern works, just as I said not brave enough to risk them, don't think I'm 'Arty' enough.

I'll only go to see alternative theater if it's something musically and latin.. otherwise I also avoid classic theater... not really my thing. I'm too impatient:)
