Halleluliah! Welcome aboard brother. thank God. You know the angels dance in heaven every time a lost soul finds the truth. Get discipled and don't let other so called Christians discourage you. The devil himself calls himself a Christian when he wants to discourage you. Stay close to God's word, and trust no man who strays from it. Study, pray, study, pray. God bless and keep you.
The Bible is priority for study, but other books can help too. A list follows:

There is no such thing as an ex-atheist. Once you realize that God doesn't really exists, nothing can change that. It a lot like saying "I used to understand that 1+1 = 2, but now I believe that 1+1 = 3". The human brain just doesn't work that way.

I suspect that you were actually just non-religious or agnostic -- which is not the same as being an atheist. Either that, or you are a Christian troll.... (probably the latter).

If you are serious, I'm very happy for you.

The Parable of the Lost Sheep

1 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus.
2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them."
3 Then Jesus told them this parable:
4 "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?
5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders
6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.'
7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

The Parable of the Lost Coin
8 "Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn't she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?
9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.'
10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

Really? What observation or life experience did you have that changed this/caused this?

Have you sought to understand all the possible causes of that observation/experience?

Ah, so you had a euphoric feeling in association with going to a church.

Have you studied both the psychology and neurology of such events? They're well described and explained without needing to invoke a deity.

I found out not approximately Jesus out of your words yet appropriate to the value in assisting others who would desire to tread an identical paths as ourselves. I found out that there is value in being a stable individual to others no rely if one is religious or not. I found out that even nevertheless we are snarky and snappy and do unlike each and every others' critiques, we've the means for stable in us.

Good for you but let me tell that in your walk with christ you may find that He doesn't really like He says He is.
Troubles will come your way and you'll call Him and He'll nowhere to be found, that's sad.

aside from going to church, first and foremost, begin memorizing verses from the bible;

a must read is "the case for Christ" by lee strobel. it will ground you early in the evidence for christianity.

"the law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide."

i'll be praying for you
