I wouldn't think that only a 3 hour time difference would cause jet lag. I fly between time zones quite often and never experience it.

You won't experience jet lag from Florida to California, you might get a little bit going back. Jet lag is always much worst going east than west. On top of that, three hours isn't much to adjust too. One day at most.

That being said, you can set your clock to California time a couple of days in advance. You want to wake up and go to bed according to the new time zone.

Believe me, you won't have any problems if you do nothing.

You'll experience very little jet lag, if at all. You could try going to bed later in Florida (say 3 hours later ), days before flying to California.

You can't prepare yourself for jet lag, but you can always get a little tipsy on the flight and pass out when you get there, this will give you a good rest and voila your good to go

take a nap in the afternoon or on the plane, really 3 hours isn't much of a jet lag, Now if you go to Tokyo that is different

Sleep as much as you can on the plane. It's proven to help with jet lag. You'll still feel a bit laggy, but it won't be nearly as bad.

I live in Louisiana and I'm going to California to visit family in 2 weeks for like...th 20th time. lol But all I do is try to sleep on the plane so by the time you get to California you're not tired and just go to bed at whatever time you usually go to bed. Hope this helps!! :)

You wont get effected from Jetlag on a three hour time difference. Just be prepared to stay up a three hours later than you otherwise would. It shouldnt be a problem

get the PSP ready. and play video games for 3 hours or read a good book. i cant sleep on planes.
