OMG, don't you know your son well enough to know what to get for him? You have to ask strangers???? Get him an air hockey table.

We got ours the Step 2 River Run Waterpark, its about $60 at Kohls.com *the best deal I found for it. Our son loves water. but the pump on it is pretty shabby. They're mailing us a new one, we'll see, it could be a great toy if the pump works better.
Our 2 year old, also likes the push type bike. And a bike helmet of course.
Another thing he likes is the mega blocks car ramp set, thats about $25.
And play dough.

Hi, how about a personalized book? Kids love to hear their own name in the storyline. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com They have lots of titles like Sesame Street, Three Little Pigs, Mother Goose, Dinosaur Land, Spider-Man, Batman, Sports titles and so many more. Check it out - they're very reasonably priced, and make a wonderful, unique & special gift... Good Luck!

It was terrible trying to find something my two yr old would really really like last year. Get toys where you can play WITH him, thats what kids that age want... someone to play and have fun with them. Maybe a bubble maker or some of that coloring paper where the markers just go on the paper and nowhere else... thats kinda cool. OH YEAH and all boys love ANYTHING to do w/ cars and rolling them around. Maybe a toddler play car. you can get a cheap plastic one from walmart.

Today's children are so bright and open to so many things. As a teacher, I believe that you can't start a child early enough on how to read. Get him lots of books that have pictures and sound. If you buy toys, try to think of his age and what is capable of doing with his hands (dexterity). Help him to increase his dexterity (I have learned that little boys have more problems than girls very early with writing and holding items in their hands.) Children love music - you can buy him educational and fun music machines (big recorders that he can push the buttons himself), Try to avoid television as much as possible,. More interactive toys are the best-bright colors and sound will help increase his right and left brain functions.
