When fishing do you prefer sitting back with a live bait and letting the fish come to you or up and around chasing the fish with a lure? Im not talking about when you target certain fish or things of that sort, i just mean if you had one way to fish which would it be? ( for me i would have to say sittin back with a live bait in the water taking in what nature has to offer waitin for the fish to come to me)

i dont mean sit back and just soak a line anywhere. Like a favorite fishing spot to be more specific.

I'm starting to get into the whole lure thing, but I've gotta agree, nothing finer than going out to one of the little honey holes around here, hooking up a shrimp, dropping the tailgate on the truck or finding a convienient rock or log and waiting for the local school of reds to come around... or the trout.... or black drum....or whatever fish haunts the area. You don't -have- to chase the fish around if you know where the fish live. (It's just getting used to water level fluctuations and such like that.... anyone know a good rain dance?)

I like live bait fishing sitting back and watching a bobber with a shiner under it or sitting on a dock fishing. I usually walk the banks to fish because live shiners are too expensive to fish with all the time.
I do enjoy taking in nature and usually when I am really relaxing and enjoying the day and the whole scheme of things is when I catch the best fish

I tend to have better luck sitting and waiting for the fish to come to the bait. Waiting around relaxing and enjoying nature is the prize but catching the fish many times over is the grandest.

I prefer fishing with a lure. However when I'm catching bait, to set lines, I use live bait.

I like to let it sit there. Usually for walleye from a boat or ice fishing. It makes it easy to drink and smoke whatever ya want!
If they aren't biting, then I pull out the tackle box.

Run and gun...like BASS Fisherman said. It makes much more sense to go where the fish ARE!
