The brazillian wax can really be customized any way you want it to be, just make sure you have a great technician and that you communicate clearly what you want before they start. Normally, it consists of waxing off all the hair on the bikini line, as well as the labia/vaginal/&anal areas. Essentially you're left with a "landing strip" of sorts. This is what you want to specify to the tech - the width, shape and length you want there.
It does hurt the first couple times, but if you have it done regularly, it really doesn't hurt that much. Also, I'd recommend buying a bottle of "Tend Skin" at the spa where you have it done. It helps soothe the skin and prevent ingrown hairs afterwards.

A brazillian wax is when you go to a salon and they wax all the hair off of your bikini area. They even remove the hair from your butt(around the anus). It's basically just like a bikini wax but to the extreme. It is very painful, but leaves you hair free!
