Or to be more specific,Why is God always portrayed as being white?

No one knows if God is white or black or brown, and we were all made in the image of God and we have many different races, so if were in the image of God then God has to be a Beautiful One, cause there are many beautiful people out there in the many different races.

God is not white or even a man.
God is a Spiritual Being. Do you see white or man in that statement?

Why would you think God (and I assume you mean Jesus) was white? Nothing in scripture tells us His skin color.
We can assume He was light skinned because He was a Semite (descended from Shem, Noah's son). But Jesus was also a descendant of Solomon, who some believe was black skinned.
He still remains King of kings and Lord of lords to all people.

Actually, the first humans were black, our hair, skin and eyes lightened as we moved to colder climates and didn't need the pigmentation so much to protect us from the sun. So, considering we're made in His image, I'm guessing if He has a race at all, which I have no clue, He'd be black.

John 4:24 say's that God is a spirit. He doesn't have a 'color'.

God isn't human so He's not tied down to race. He came in human form as a Jew as He promised them.

nobody said he white. nobody said he was anycolor. nobody really cares what color he is. we just wnat to be in his love for when we die we get to meet him. ok.
