If someone is picking fights with girls, only sees there side opf things even if they started conflicts,etc......and is arrogant and extremely disrespectful, what drug could they be abusing? And could this kind of behavior be linked to drug use especially if they act this way in public? In other words, they are a completely different person over a year's time and there attitude and demeanor has changed drastically.

Could be anything. Crack, Meth, Alcohol...

Drugs can mosdef change someone completely. Constant drug abuse changes the person's mind and makes them more paranoid, etc. They don't see reality the way you and I do anymore.

Good luck. :)

it could definitely be drug related, the person could be taking almost anything(X-stacy, cocaine, crack, alcohol, even marijuana) and when the drug wears off the effect is the attitude and behavior that you have been seeing. the behavior may also be symptoms of withdrawal when the person can't get there fix. drugs are mind altering, so when you are "high" you are calm and relaxed, but when you are "sobering" up, you are egdy and sometimes can be hostile or violent, really depends on the person and there state of mind. there might also be underlying issues, of a mental capacity, that needs to be addressed. My advise, ask the person, str8 out if they are using drugs. If they give you a st8 answer, go from there to get the person help. If not then all you can really do is continue to put up with the behavior and hope for the best, going to rehabs are completely voluntary and if the person thinks they are always right, they probably won't think there is anything wrong. If the behavior continues you might want to tell that person you can't be bothered with someone whose temperment and mood are so unpredictable, and you won't be bothered unless they make a conscious effort to get help. All the best.

There's any number of drugs that might be involved, or this may be a new and unpleasant side of that person. If drugs are involved, you'll be looking for something that increases aggression and may lowers inhibitions. Many prescriptions, including common ones like Prednazone, can have side effects that make people more prone to sudden rages and outbursts that resemble Steroid Rages. I would talk specifically to a drug councillor about your friend. They may be able to narrow things down a bit and give you a better idea of how to approach the person.

It is possible. It all depends on the drug and the amount it is used. Typically, yes, his personality change and mood swings are due to drug abuse. I have lost many friends to cocaine and meth. However, some people just change to you after you get to know them. But in this case, it sounds like he has a drug problem and you need to try to get him help before he ruins his life.

Yes and it happened to a close family member. I barely recognized him. He used to be the most loyal loving person but drugs made him more out spoken and abandon all the values we hold true. All I can suggest is talking to him and suggest counseling. If it is drugs, then it will be a very tough road.
My prayers are with you. Good Luck.

Yeah, drug use can do that. Nearly anything, but good bet it isn't pot. But, drugs might have nothing to do with it. I've had some friends in high school turn on me for no real reason, sounding exactly like you described. Some ppl grow out of it.

maximum genuinely. regrettably i will assert that from first hand understanding of having a kin member who became into continuously an rather amicable guy or woman grow to be in contact with drug utilization. For his case, he became in contact in applying methamphetamine. It became into quite a few months in the past everyone fairly concept that became into the case yet after yet another few months it became into obvious that's what we've been dealing with. He became extrememly agitated whilst puzzled approximately something, very worried, paranoid or perhaps nevertheless would seem for kin applications, became into disrespectful and located the 1st difficulty he ought to to fly right into a rage over and depart. It absolutley can be drug use, before i met my husband he was on meth. All of his family said he was a nightmare. I have never seen him do drugs or even imagine him actually doing them , but he is still mean sometimes, doesn't neccesarrily imply that this person is on drugs , maybe they are stressed out, or something is really bothering them. Maybe you can just ask whats up
