"Thou shalt not kill" is so antiquated, and stealing? How else are people going to think that you are cool? None of the 10 Commandments have any relevance to today's society at all...Honor thy mother and thy father, yeah right! What a pile of crap that is!

Relevant, but I think their effect is overstated. If having the original two editions couldn't stop Israel from sliding back into sin, why do some fundamentalists think that posting copies of them are going to miraculously stop sin today?

The two that have meaning are laws. The others are archaic guidelines forcing a tribe to remain faithful to their superstitions.
Saying they are the "laws of the land" does not make them so.
