I have one, she is great, the perfect pet, but I wonder if she needs a nother schnauzer to play with when we are gone?

She stays in the house, and does well, I think she might be a bit lonely though. We are not gone long periods of time, but I will start working again in the fall and she will be alone more.

That all depends. One dog can be fine but I myself always have 2 or more dogs.
If you want one I would suggest getting one soon so you can house train.
You don't have to get a schnauzer anything would be fine if you introduce correctly.

I bred Miniature Schnauzers for 20 years and had as many as 9 living mutually interior the domicile with out issues. My MSs have been very calm loveable canines and did no longer seem to have any situation getting alongside with one yet another or the different canine they got here in touch with. I raised the blacks and the black and silvers and not the salt and peppers because of the fact i got here across the s and playstation to be slightly extra hyper than the different colorations.

yes, two dogs are happier than one dog. they always seem happier if they have a "partner" to sleep, play, and goof around with. i just got a second pup this week, and my older dog seems more light hearted. 2 are better than one :)
