Please think about this seriously.

If you woke up tomorrow and things just weren't right. You turn on the TV and find out that millions of people just disapeared and no one knows what happened to them. What would you think and do? Honestly?

If the rapture occurred the previous night, I would not be here to make that decision because I am born again and would be included in that rapture.

On the other hand, if I were there I would be confused momentarily and then probably dismiss it by the end of the day. I would do this because I had never taken the initiative to read the Bible, scoffed at every opportunity to go to church, mock Jerry Falwell and others who lived a life of righteousness and just continue on my sinful ways. There would be more people in the world I like and I would probably smoke pot and get drunk and dismiss the entire rapture thing because while I possibly knew about it, my soul would be in such a state that I would not care and it would have ultimately no impact on me. I would be destined for hell, because although many people have told me about Christ, I would have scorned them and mocked them and mocked Jesus Christ.

When Christ descends from the clouds with a host of angels, I would be terrified and my kneee would bow, but then I would be resentful and scorn the Savior's favor on Christians over me. I would sin again, blaspheme Christ's name and on Judgment Day go right to hell.

Praise God I am actually saved!!! I would be a real ***** otherwise. This is a testament to God's mercy on me!

Take each of these responses seriously. Many are meant in jest, but these people are telling the truth!

The bible teaches that Jesus will return and collect his people. This is the rapture. Then a time of judgment on the earth will begin. People are believing a false prophet who believe in the rapture of tomorrow. Nothing will happen. He predicted the same thing for September 4, 1994. He's a proven liar.

I would think I'm dreaming. I would never imagine the doctrine of a minor sect in Britain spawned by the vision of a girl terrified of the apocalypse but which had no history at all prior to that would ever be true. I'd make sure to pinch myself.

What would you do if you found out that you've been fed a fabricated doctrine whose final point and goal we don't yet fully know? What happens if the "rapture" doctrine is simply a means to get people to follow the Antichrist unwittingly or to get people to otherwise deny Christ on account of the arbitrary division of Scripture (as a result of Dispensationalist model after model that has failed in its predictions and been revised)? The "Rapture" won't happen, because it isn't a Christian doctrine and isn't biblical.

And then unto him a point of light in the sky. He touched the pi. In his heart she knew his destiny. "Blades, like cucumbers, fell from the sky," he said wiping her brow. As he was only person left now, all she could do is make salad...

Ah wait, right. Rapture. The angels that watch us on television from heaven. That means we all get warped because they need more families to boost their ratings?

Bah, I hate t.v. executives, messing with space and time and Emperor Zark.

He makes tasty pastries too with flaky crust and whole fruit fillings yum.

But furthermore, I just wanted to type that some people don't think owls really have anuses... Lies! Filthy dirty lies. They are just models reincarnated from the days of yore.

And speaking of chocolate, it tastes good.

Remember to respect a turkey and it's mate. You never know when it will be a chicken.

Did you know that in hell, it is raining eyeballs or possibly terriers? Holy balls.

And with this we conclude. Remember, God doesn't like hairy kitties. Shave your cat before you get yoinked!

....Now everyone say, "fuzzy pickles" while I take your photos!

I'd know it was a dream because there is no such thing as a pretrib rapture. The 'taking away' happens after the tribulation, right before the final wrath, and frankly, by that time, we'll be ready to get the hell out of dodge and won't have time to think about it.

It depends on who was missing.....

In The Event, http://www.micklasalle.com/, it's something like this....

"This was my first hearing of Howard Stern's disappearance. I switched to Headline News. On the crawl, they had a list of prominent people who had disappeared: Howard Stern, former president Jimmy Carter, the Dalai Lama, Sarah Jessica Parker, the Secretary of State, comedian Sarah Silverman, hip-hop producer Dr. Dre, the Prime Minister of Germany, musician Martie Maguire, travel writer Rick Steves, Spike Lee, Liz Smith, Jim Wallis, actress Isabelle Huppert, Ashton Kutcher, Liza Minnelli, Christopher Kimball, Ted Turner, author Michele Wallace, Joe Pesci, Terry Gross, the illusionist David Copperfield . . . I don't know...but sometimes I wish that the only person on the face of the earth was me...just for one day, I think I'd love that.
Do you ever wish that?
