Not all internships pay. Most you just work for the experience, you get paid nothing. Some do pay, and it is enough to live on. It depends on which company you go with.

Short answer - No.

Extended answer - Well most internships aren't paid at all, but assuming you've got a paid one (fortunately I do right now) it all depends. Some tell you how much they'll pay up front. Others give you a hourly wage. There is no standard across the board, but in all likelyhood you won't be finding one that pays enough to support you, as that would defeat the purpose of an 'intern' and be more like a 'career'

There are some paid internships out there. Disney offers paid interships and housing. I have included a link to the program information. Good luck!
