Face it! After you're dead, people will judge you by what you have said and done during your life. If you didn't approve of him when he lived, why be hypocritical? He certainly had a huge social effect on people. If you believed in him and accepted his teachings, then be grateful that he touched your life. In any case, be honest about it. Personally, I think there is good in everyone...even some in TV evangelists!

Dr., that's exactly what I thought, that Falwell should be glad there is no hell. Even if I believed in what he believed, I seriously doubt god and Jesus would have been too pleased with that maniac.
He's no better than an Ayatollah or other fanatic. We should all be grateful he didn't have an army.
Hey, Cherylynn, do you know what that man spent his life doing? Spreading intolerance and getting rich from it. Do you know Osama Bin Laden personally? Do you like him? Same argument.

The new birth into heaven of another saint who fought for Jesus every step of the way. He will judge many in heaven, and rule with Jesus. God bless his family. His legacy will live forever....as will he, in heaven and later on the new earth.

God is raising up others giants in the faith as we speak. He's never at a loss for soldiers.

not really a fundamentalist...or he wouldn't have been sinning by being fat...if he was truly fundamentalist he would have interpreted the Bible literally and lived a Godly life by being healthy....obviously, he never turned from his sin of gluttony, so now must be burning in the fiery pits of hell....

No. The death of a flawed human, who knew he couldn't attain Heaven on his own. He trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ, so that he could attain Heaven.
