Well, you know what "conservative" types REALLY enjoy? A public confession and repentance. All old Newt would have to do is get up in front of the world and say hey, you know, the whole time I was persecuting Bill Clinton for getting extramarital BJs, I myself was getting extramarital BJs from this woman to my left here, who now gives me BJs within the bounds of matrimony. Oh, plus my sister's a lesbian, but I promise you that if elected president I'll make sure she's kept locked in a dungeon below the White House with Dick Cheney's daughter. The POINT is that I feel really bad about all this, and I've asked Jesus Christ for forgiveness (ducks beneath podium to pluck nose hair) and (sobbing) now I'm asking for your forgiveness and support, good Christians of America, to make sure that we can continue this spiral into oblivion under Republican rule that my predecessor "W" has spearheaded with such finesse.
Then the GOP base will just be like, where's my checkbook. That's pretty much the way it works, in a nutshell. See "pusherhombre," who - I swear! - came up with his answer independently of mine.

first. is Gingrich a christian?
if he is, then the grace of God abounds and he's not in sin.
after all... if its true for Bill Clinton, its true for anybody.
1corinth.6:9 is talking about the unrighteous. vs.11 such were some of you.
past tense.
so Paul is speaking to brethren who formerly did those things yet bring charges against other brethren who perhaps more recently did those things.
Paul is calling to account all brethren for bothering with things that could be resolved if they'd apply grace, not law.
Paul did not say that such persons would not go to heaven, he said they could not inherit the kingdom of God. because the kingdom of God is redemption, and righteousness, forgiveness and agape love. (which some brethren were not doing regarding other brethren).
all of which one inherits by accepting Jesus as their Savior.
having someone in the White House who's had a divorce(s) is the least of any problems the nation would have if he couldnt guide the nation with what it takes to keep America from getting blown up by another nation.
is Newt even running for President?

Well, both say they are Christian. Neither has acted like a Christian. I doubt that either will be in heaven when they die, so on that issue I view them as equal.
Which would I vote for to be the (un-saved, going to hell) president of the United States? If these were the only two choices? Gingrich.

I would vote for Gingrich over Hillary any day, any time. Gingrich has sinned, but is a believer, and it is up to us to forgive him that sin, but also do what is best for the nation.
Hillary attended church, but has no works whatsoever to show what she believes. Sticking with her man?? The only time they ever see each other is for public events. Hillary has slammed Christianity repeatedly and the only time she goes to church is for funerals like Ford's death. Hillary is no Christian and her thoughts, writing, and action shows that.
Mrs. Clinton is a menace to America and I cannot vote for her in the general election.

There you go trying to argue the facts with them. You will only confuse them, they are not use to hearing the truth.
