Not sure if Audacity can work with protected files. You anc always make an Audio CD of the protected WMA file and then rip it back to unprotected MP3.

cucsoft has various of these out but they aren't free and they cost you about 30 to 40 bucks and are WELL WORTH IT. they'll jack any movie...and i mean aaaaany movie with no problem. i own the one for zune and have many movies in mp3 format and wma format etc. and mp4 format..anyway..

anyone saying that they have free ones are full of it. ALL OF THEM will leave water marks on your converted video ( words saying THIS IS A DEMO RIGHT THROUGH THE WHOLE MOVIE) there are no free one's out there that won't work more than once or are virus filled files.

trust me i've searched everywhere and downloaded just about every thing. there is a free conversion thing you can get from windows..but its very hard to use not user friendly (it even claims this fact) and you have to use it with windows player. you can get it free on their webpage. but its not worth it and takes for ever to convert.
