The cost depends on your insurance.
Last year, it cost me $17 with my insurance.
This year, difference carrier, it's $40.

That is a huge difference.

And no, there isn't a "generic" -- not according to my allergist, anyway. If you find one, PLEASE post the info!

But man, oh man, is it WORTH it!

PS-- Benadryl is better than nothing and much more affordable.

I'm not really sure about regular Zyrtec. I'm on Zyrtec-D. When I first started taking it about 4 years ago, I have to fight with my insurance company to get it covered. But I can tell you that at my pharmacy, a 30 day supply (60 pills) of Zyrtec-D without insurance would cost me $106.79.
