I am confused as to why in todays society so many "liberated" women have a desire to be dominated in the bedroom. I welcome any comments from ladies with a reason why.

I want my husband to be the dominant one, in and out of the bedroom. This doesnt mean I want to get beaten or abused. He's a respectful and considerate man, dosent hurt me or leave me at home while he goes out. Not sure I have a good answer, its just the way I like it. He's the big, strong, manly man and I get to be the petite wife. Idk, dont let him read this.

In response to a couple other responses, dominance dosent have to be taken to the extreme . You can be the strong, protector type w/o mistreating your wife. I still make desisions, its just an aura and a balance most men cant handle.

Some do like to be dominated and some don't. Women classically have qualities that indicate why we like to be dominated. (less physical strength than men, lack of a tool, etc...) Like I said, the classic characteristics women remain the same, but our culture has changed, like it should. Women are liberated, but we have'nt grown male parts. Also, there is not much of a connection between intellect and sex after one's decided to have it, in my opinion. So don't go off implying that women should be on top just because we can vote and talk back, now.

Deep down inside i think most women want to be taken care of in lots of ways and to be "guided" or dominated in the bedroom gives great satisfaction and pleasure. I like for my man to take what he wants and be pleased. THere is the occasion that i tie him up and let him get spanked a little. He likes it too...

Some would say that it relates to instinctual roles of women. Personally I think it's something that lots of people, male and female find a turn on but that is a lot more difficult for a man to accept and approach. I don't really think it's the gender issue you're making it.

Women, traditionally, crave for a real 'manly' man who wields his sexual prowess and has the upper hand in sexual adventures.

Social liberation shouldn't be confused with this. This feeling of being bedroom-dominated arises primarily from the way women are programmed to respond to sex.

There's a big difference between a man yelling at a women, berating her, hitting or abusing her physically, telling her what to do, and so forth and a woman taking pleasure from rough sex. I think men should make it a point to know the difference.

I am no woman but what my last girlfriend told me was "All women want to be championed because it gives them a sense of security to know they are with a big strong man." And that is a direct quote as she walked out the front door.

Hi Dunno Y
What is happening is very simple.
Only a fraction of women actually know what they stand for.
Honestly majority don't know their rights.
I urge all women be it bedroom or any other place we do have our own rights.
Don't allow men to crash us under their feet because the moment they do so then liberty bounce back to them hence a continious domination.
We need to come out and enlighten every women on her right if we actually mean to save our lovely women from male oppression.
