I would have to say yes, it can happen. It does not happen all the time and it will not happen over night. As well it will not ever be a direct cause of death, there are only 2 or 3 of thoses (I think it is 2)

There are a lot of variables to take into consideration. Such as the individuals health, how hateful are they, and whether or not they express this hate or keep it bottle up inside.

To say that harm to our bodies due to emotional duress or mental anxieties is an old wives tale is to wave a hand in favor of ignorant dismissal. While the research is probably too underdeveloped to make a definitive answer there are a lot of indicators that negative emotions and mind sets have detrimental results on the body.

Reading an answer from another person reminded me of something that I heard on the audio for Zig Zigglers- "View From the Top"

On it he states that he tries to verify things three ways, physically, mentally and spiritually. He goes on to say that he called a friend of his that worked in one of the leading research and care facilities for the Mentally Challenged. He asked this friend "if it were true, that he had never seen a patient of alseimers (Sorry all answers should come with a warning "Poster can not spell"), that was physically in decent shape, mentally active, and had a sincere desire and concern for the well being of others."(Not an exact quote)

His friend referred him to aa speciaist how basiicly said, "If you put it that way, then you are absolutely right."

I hope this helps,

Sorry to hear of their loss...

Its like saying which came first the chicken or the egg.

Lots of times people who are horribly sick become grouchy, hateful and can't think straight. sometimes hateful people are just sick. Whether the hate made them sick is debateable ... probably the sickness made them hateful and seemingly ignorant. After all, when you're in pain and suffering, you aren't likely to be attending university classes.

What I've noticed is that healthy, athletic people are generally happy and intellegent when their lives are in balance. People who are too devoted to sports and athletics are not but a balanced person generally is.

Actually, from a medical side, yes. Feelings of hate, anger, intolerance, blaming and stress all take a tremendous toll on your health.

Clearly, Rev Fallwell was an unhappy guy.

Considering the fact some people don't die until age 73years, I wouldn't say Jerry Falwell could be used as an example of "dropping dead".

Yes you can. If you have high blood pressure or any kind of heart disease and you fly into an uncontrollable rage, it is very possible to die of a stroke, apoplexy, or heart attack.
That is why hate is to toxic to the body.

If that was true, most of the religious people would be gone by now and the world would be a beautifully place to live.

If you can come back to life "from being full of love" (as a guy did 2000 years ago,) anything is possible.

I'm not sure about the "ignorance"......

......but I would think being full of hate would only draw hateful things toward that one and could possible affect a person.

No, but hate and ignorance can kill you suddenly. They usually do it with things like lynchings, beatings, bombings, and the occasional sniper rifle.

If you have a heart condition, maybe. The stress could set something off.
