When we first started dating he refused to talk about who he's been with. He didn't want to talk about how many people he had slept with... He said that it has been his experience that knowing who and how many people eachother slept with usually ended with hurt feeling. So now I still wonder. Now it is almost like I am even more curious about what type of history he has. I think that he has mostly had girlfriends not one-night-stands. But I don't know. Now, a year later, I am still wondering. This is ridiculous--I know. I shouldn't be even thinking about such things this far into our relationship. Are there any clues that I could pick up on to shed some incite on this topic for me.

well i think the fact that you are stillllll thinking about it means something. trust your instincts. if you think something is not right, your probably right!!! and if he doesn't want to answer,,,, that is totally a noncommunitive relationship! they don't work...unless the woman likes be kept out....goood luck!

It is a little strange that he doesn't want to talk about his past...but maybe he doesn't want to hear about yours...i mean, you get what you give right? And as for the sleeping thing doesn't the old saying go "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me". He obviously cares about you so he doesn't want to make that same mistake twice, expecially with a more wonderful girl like you! See the bright side and take it as a compliment! But if you're sincerely concerned then by now, a year later, you should be able to converse with him about it. Tell him its been on your mind and that it would just make you feel better if he could speak with you about it, just to make YOU feel better. Im afraid to say there's only 2 clues to see if he's cheating: 1) his past tell tales and 2) if you catch him at it (emails, phone calls, other dates, "working late") but dont worry...if you've been together this long im sure you'll be fine!! All I know is that my and my friends ex "player" b/f's have all been more than willing to share how many they've been with, how and when and why ... even told me how many and who they cheated on.
The ones with less experience and not much to "brag" about have said as little as possible to keep the mystery.
What kind of type do YOU think he is? You can tell a bit by his personality.
