Actually, I prefer the devil I know....his replacement might actually be a reasonable, charming person, so we'd better keep Pat around.

Falwell was certainly no saint, and neither is Robertson, but even with all the harm they have done to so many innocent people, I'm not going to celebrate Falwell's death or wish for Robertson's.

The parallel fails on one significant element. Wright is racially obsessed and the others at the instant are not. it is the racial understanding and divisiveness that's the situation. Seeing secularist western civilization in particular and American custom exceedingly as debased and lost isn't any fault and to be inspired. it isn't any different than the prophets lamenting immorality, Jesus attacking the Jewish custom of his day, Socrates attacking the Athenian custom, Livy or Augustine attacking the Roman custom, and Luther attacking the corruption of the Church in 1517. moreover, you will see comparable statements on the Huffington positioned up or the different leftist blog, nevertheless from a different perspective and reason. healthful criticism of a debauched and immoral custom isn't basically with good precedent yet mandatory, yet a divisiveness according to racial understanding is silly, puerlile, and ignorant.

yes, if they go in 3's I'd like to see Pat Robertson next as well as Sharpton.

that way we'd have Bush on his way out, Falwell, Robertson and Sharpton GONE! America would be looking better & better...

I think Tammy Fay Baker will be the next to go, she already has one foot in the grave. Pat Robertson despite his age seems to be in good health.

falwell and robertson are just both glorified and accepted cult leaders. the spew out their own personal beliefs, call them the rules of god and have millions eating out of their hands, believing their lies and misinformation and during all of that, people send them money.

I refuse to judge......I imagine that Falwell will be having a very long talk with God.
