Ignoring the question - who would make such a man, are you glad?

Did you know Falwell was pro segragation and apartheid?
Did you know he felt AIDS was gods punishment for gays?
Do you think there is one less bible being tumped on today?
Do you think his heart gave out becuase he ate one too many ding-dongs?

Yes, his views were immoral. He was not a humble or compassionate person, nor respectful of the separation between church and state. They carved a huge LU to represent Liberty University on the mountain by my school. His "science" museum claims that dinosaur bones are only 3,000 years old, which shows his lack of respect for science or knowledge. Classic example of a demagogue. I wonder how many people he may have indirectly hurt by supporting the Exodus and ex-gay organizations, or by claiming that AIDS was a punishment for homosexuals.

I never cared for what little I heard him preach, and I think that he had much to say that was an aberration to Christianity, but I don't have a grudge against the guy. His family must be missing him.

I don't think there is one less Bible Thumper because new people are becoming Preachers. It's sad that people have to speak bad and negative about this man of God. Even tho he stepped on alot of toes during his preaching years. He did serve God and is in Heaven with the Maker.
I don't think Homosexuals caused Aids epidemic. I think its anyone that has unprotective sex that caused it. His heart gave out because he had heart trouble and it was his time to go.
