Thats what the preacher says "$" Tithies.

Jesus never ask money, he commanded us to give, but the poor preacher uses Jesus for money and uses many verses to support their claims, Jesus live in the old testament law, and he has to fulfill the law. Tithing in the old testament is allowed for a certain reason 'THAT THERE MAY BE FOOD IN MY HOUSE' the livites does not have jobs to supply the needs of the temple. It has to come from other sources, and that is the tithies.

In the new testament tithing is abolished because our body became the temple of God, and this temple instead of getting money, should be giving money, as in the books of acts says 'and they lack nothing'

Today the preacher is rich the church is poor. They stole the money of the parishioner through legalism TITHING.

I won't attack you on your joking question, yet i will supply you an answer. If there is remotely any disappointed nature in you for why funds looks to play a place interior the Christian church, that's trouble-free. Jesus spoke extra approximately funds and possessions than heaven or hell; the main that's "stewardship." God's will, regrettably, isn't the only will in touch interior the activities of this worldwide or this existence. additionally, understand that the Bible of course establishes data for a God who isn't based fullyyt on supernatural forces to accomplish which will. The undertaking of the church demands many better than funds to do its artwork, yet funds continues to be usually mandatory to be triumphant in doing so. God isn't constrained by way of our wealth or our poverty, yet He can use the two to deliver expertise, healing, and/or prosperity in one form or yet another.

Funny, but seriously, if you spent time studying giving/tithing in the Bible you would know that when it comes down to it it is not about money. God has access to all of the money in the world & if he wants a certain, church, organization or individual to have money he will make sure that they get it. Giving/tithing is about the state of your heart and relationship with God. When you start to spend time with God and in the Word you realize that your'e not perfect, never will be and neither is anyone else. You will screw up everyday & so will everyone else. That what's so great about his forgiveness which, (by the way is hard to come by in this world). But, when it comes down to it-God looks at your heart.

gotta pay your way into heaven. hell a new church was just built in my neighborhood that cost nearly 1 million dollars. you think god appreciates that, when you can worship in a frickin tent and use that money for so many great causes. feeding the hungry. educating the poor, building homes for those who don't have a home. nope, can't go to church every sunday and be comfortable if your church isn't equipped with movie theater style seats. great way to spend the money christians.

"Where God guides, God provides!" Jesus isn't asking for money, but perhaps man who professes Jesus is asking.

May it be said here that I happen to attend a church that never passes an offering plate. My Pastor believes that, "Where God guides, God provides." And the day his fellowship lacks the funds to continue its ministries is the day God is telling him to rethink what it is he and the church are doing.

To ask for money all the time shows a lack of faith in God's provision. ----That's what I think anyway.

PS (Our church isn't lacking in funds to serve her people, her community, her state or nation or the world). Praise God that He is finding favor in our humble service to Him.

Jesus does not want your money. If He did, He would get it without asking you. It's His, anyway.
