The Old Testament...?

What about the rest of the BS... None of it is "God's word." It's all made-up by man.

You are such fools to believe that there is truth in metaphysics. There's no supernatural being out there anywhere. It's all nonsense no mater how many of you say that it isn't.

And, wanting something to be real is quite a far shot from wishing it into existence by any degree of ones effort. No amount of desire, devotion or faith will make the slightest difference upon reality.

Fools, all, think again about what you are so willfully attached to.

Does that mean that the Constitution of the United States isn't the word of the Founders because it needed amendments?

But I wouldn't call the New Testament an "amendment" of the Old. The same One God is expressed in both; the latter is merely the fulfillment of the former. Not an amendment of it.

On second thought, maybe you mean "emendations," where scholars attempt to correct what they think are omissions or mistakes in certain texts, as a result of copying manuscripts.

Such human errors in copying do not take away from the fact that the Bible is God's Word. Those errors in copying have been corrected by comparing later manuscripts with earlier ones, as in the case of the Dead Sea Scrolls, already mentioned.

What was the amendment you are talking about? Which alteration are you referring to?
If you think the New Testament is an alteration, think again. The New Testament is not an addition to God's words. It is just a collection of life and works of Jesus Christ. The religions call it the New Testament and the truth is, it is not. The reason why there is The Book of Revelation is to prove to people about what really is the truth.
One reason why the Book of Revelation have leave many to misinterpret was because it was written with puzzles so that the authorities who were the target of the Revelation cannot easily discover that they are what it is about. First, the New Testament of God will no longer be written in books, walls or any materials as promised by God in the book of Isaiah and Jeremiah. It will be made known to man where it will no longer be useful for man to teach another man someday on how to know God because everybody will know Him.
Second, the actual Beast in the world is the Christian religions themselves. Remember its many heads and one of the heads was severely wounded and the wound was healed?
Who in the Book is that character who was brutally stricken to death and came back to life? You know what 666 is? That is the teachings in the New Testament that was twisted. The Old Testament stands for 999 which is a perfect printed words of God considering the digit number 9 as the highest numerical arrangements. Twist 9 and that gives you 6. It was given three times because God will twist it back three times as He declared it in Ezekiel 21:27.
Lucifer is not an Angel who rebelled against God's authority. He is a man who once was called God's Cherubim (meaning Chosen or Favored) and who claim to be sitted among among the stars above at the mount of the assembly,. See Isaiah 14:12-17 Read it slowly and carefully; digest each line. The meaning of Lucifer is "Morning Star" and it was followed by the words, "Son of the Morning (or Dawn)". Morning in the life of man means young or innocent. See Matthew 26:64 so you will know who is it that wants to sit above the sky and to come from the clouds of heaven.
If you have the Bible of KJV or Latin Vulgate of the Catholics, the word Lucifer is used there but if you have another type like NIV or New American Bible the word there was replaced by Morning Star. So, go now to the Book of Revelation of again and read Revelation 22:16 and find out who claims to be the Morning star.

The Old Testament has the same meaning as the New, it only needed amendments in the literary style it was written, like if I read you a straight copy of "Beowulf" good luck reading it, much less understanding the message.

You should do a web search on dead sea scrolls of Old Testament books. The old testament message hasn't been changed. They are the same today as when they were first made into those old scrolls.

You can also order a copy of the book of Isaiah. Isaiah is very prophetic of the Messiah.

It wasn't an amendment, it was a continuation.

And God directed it.

The OT does not need to be amended.
The Christians should stick to their own Bible, the NT.
Jews have their own Bible, the OT. The two are not ideologically related.
