I am getting my hair cut soon and would like to go for the 'scene' look.....I am a male with hair about 3-4 inches past my shoulders....any ideas on how to get it cut and any styling tips would be great....should I dye it? what should I tell the stylist? pics would be great......I am not looking for the short styles but more the long length ones...most ones I find are girl pics....

I have naturally straight hair...kind of like the elf orlando bloom plays on lord of the rings except black hair....

well i really can't tell if i don't see ur pic. cause ur hairstyle has to go with your eyes and skin colour and you face shape.
but i recently saw this website where you find out what shape is your face and they show haircuts and stuff like that. maybe you'll get some ideas. or tell your stylist to surprize you with a haircut, ok but you can be dissapointed after. if you still don't know, go for asymmetrical haircut. makes u get noticed.

Ask for a choppy fringe at the front, and if you want it to be real scene ask for it to be left longer at the back so you can stick it up. My hair is alot like Pete Wentz hair just a bit shorter and i styled the fringe myself...I wouldn't recommend it though!

well, depends on your face shape actually but try looking at asian males usually the ones from taiwan like f4 or korean guys' haircut. it rocks. promise
