I had a pact with a friend that whoever went over first would contact the other if he saw Jesus.
The result was that he did see Jesus who admitted he had conned everyone and also revealed that he didn`t expect to be crucified which is why he cried out on the cross: "Father, why hast though forsaken me..." but there was no answer because his `Father` did not exist either. Nor has he, Jesus, seen him in the other world, not heaven, because heaven - or hell - do not exist only in the minds of people.
Whoever your are, don`t mock this, this is MY belief, just the same as you have yours and for which you demand and expect respect.
Jesus himself was conned.

Answering the person who said I had shot myself in the foot by admitting there is a life beyond this; I have always believed there was but it`s not governed or ruled by magical `gods.`
I watch Colin Fry every night; channel 20 FTN about eight `o clockish.

So what's your question?

You are correct. Jesus WAS just an ordinary man. That's the WHOLE point of Christianity. He was born a man, lived as a man and died as a man. He did this so people would know that God understands the plight of man.

When he called out to God on the cross, God did not answer him for a reason. See, Jesus lived as a man with one exception, he did not sin while on earth. So, he was entitled to go to heaven. However, when Jesus died, he took responsibility for the sin of all the world. It would be like if you were on death row for a crime and a perfect stranger said" Let him go, I'll take his place". And they let you go free, without a record and killed that stranger in your place.

When Jesus took the responsibility for all the sin, God could not answer him because God cannot be where there is sin. He could not acknowledge Jesus because he took on the sins of the world.
After Jesus died, God forgave all the sin so Jesus could go to heaven, thereby making a way for ALL people to go to heaven by asking for forgiveness in the name of Jesus.

So, where is your proof? You say that your friend contacted you? So I'm assuming that means he's dead and somehow contacted you? How do you know it was him? How do you know it wasn't another spiritual being contacting you to make you THINK it was your friend. You may have been tricked. The only way you will ever really know for sure is when YOU die. And then it's too late to change your mind.

Nice story. Too bad it's based on fallacy

According to the Bible in the book of Ecclesiastes 9: 5, 10 the dead can't communicate with the living.

"5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten."

"10 All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going."

"Whoever your are, don`t mock this, this is MY belief, just the same as you have yours and for which you demand and expect respect."

I don't mean to sound like I'm mocking you.

As a couple of people have pointed out, it doesn't really count as proof...

Besides, I'm an atheist, and even your idea of him doesn't make Jesus sound exactly ordinary... How many ordinary people do you know have had a meal that led to people killing each other over the issue of whether the wine was made of their blood or not?

But you're welcome to your beliefs, however incoherent: just don't try to get this taught in science lessons or anything...

Fascinating! And although I do not know what your question is - I have one for you. You seem to assume that some place exists after this. Without God or Jesus, what is this place? What does it consist of? What do you do to get there, or is it just a natural progression - a spiritual 'no child left behind'?

Ok I've read this and you can have your own beliefs, but where is the question, all i see is a statement, but it was man that has said Jesus was the son of God, so if you believe that then it's man that has conned you not God

So your proof is that your dead friend came back from the dead? He did this specifically to tell you there was nothing on the other side? So where did your friend go, what are the supposed descriptions of this other place that can support your proof. You have yet to provide evidence. Seems more like a rant.

well yeah he was a real person, just extra ordinary because God performed the miracles through him. the fact that he rose from the dead wasn't Jesus, that was God's powers or whatev.

how did your dead friend contact you? and if heaven and hell only exist in the minds of people, where was it that your friend met Jesus?

all this sounds really weird

Your friend 'went over first' and then contacted you?

So was that a live broadcast or a dead one?
