Hmm.. many options here are available for you. You didn't state your itinerary like which country 1st, 2nd, 3rd... so I will assume you will visit Western Europe first. Like for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, you can buy the "Eurail Select Pass 4 countries". For Czech Republic, there are more options there, as there is the "Eurail Czech - Germany Pass" and there is the "Eurail Austria - Czech Republic Pass" AND also a "European East Pass" which will allow you to travel in Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.

So here's what I recommend, because this is what I did last time: Go ahead and purchase this European Eastern Pass and the Eurail Select Pass 3 countries (for Germany, Switzerland, and Italy). Yes, you will have to state which countries, otherwise they have no idea. So to travel between Germany and Czech, you will use one day of your European Eastern Pass and when you return to Germany you will use one day of your Eurail Select Pass 3 countries. Highly recommend travel between Germany-Czech Republic and Czech Republic-Germany as this route between Prague and Frankfurt has a night train that is quite smooth. Havent tried or heard of anything bad about Czech-Austria. But if you do get lost or need info, Frankfurt and Prague train station is by far the better ones to be in!

I guess you can buy it online as well, but I purchased mines from STA Travel. They have really good agents there if you have questions or to give you advice on planning where to go first and last. They also sell those international student identity cards for bout 25 bucks. Check to see if they have a local office in your city.
Hope you have a fun trip!

You are correct in saying that Eurail passes do not cover the Czech Republic (nor the UK, incidentally). I suggest you check out the Eurail site at:- http://www.eurail.com/. Prices will depend on how old you are. A full months pass will cost between $708 and $1089. There are cheaper options allowing 10 or 15 days travel in a two month period which might be suitable if you don't intend to be on the move every day.
