Though I admit I'm old, my kids keep telling me I am, I'm not that old so wasn't actually there. I have heard the theory that they were all killed because they were nephilim (1/2 human, 1/2 angel), which were very dangerous to humans and if any of them survived, they'd take revenge. Being stronger than humans, we couldn't really compete.

By the way, I believe this only happened in one specific instance, because most of the people the Israelites went against were humans, so it wasn't necessary.

Jesus in the New Testament gives further instruction-to kill the enemy within people and get them born again to be their friends, in amazing grace-and if they refuse to let them die on their own as we are not given a land on earth to protect His Temple and lamb sacrifice to promise the coming of Jesus the lamb of God to die for the world.

If someone was going to kill your family & you and there was no police force-would you help them do it. Like in Iraq would you give that countries weak government over to the terrorist ultra muslims to take it over and use it for a force to destroy you?

John 14:6, John 3 and Revelation 3:19&20 where Jesus also says he unconditionally loves us, "I love you, and knock on your heart door to come in deliver from sins (even one lie) and be your friend, if you repent and ask me in."
