2 Pros and 10 Cons?

Question

Please Help! If you really love the man you are with, but there are only 2 good things you can say bout him. What should you do? Because I can name 10 reasons why me and my boyfriend should not stay together. I'm crazy about him, but I'm kinda thinking now, that maybe I'm just crazy. He is older then me. I'm 23 and he is 34. Maybe it's the age???? So, the question is" if there are only 2 things you love about a person should you stay?"

Pros. 1-listens to me
2- the sex

Cons. 1- A 34 year old BRAT( it's on his arm)
2- Say's he is sorry days later
3- He slap me (just 1 time)
4- Drinks to much(and don't think so)
5- Do drugs( pop pills)
6-wants me to agree with everything he say
7-wants everything his way
8-thinks I'm sleeping with every guy(only the ones "my AGE")
9-Never been married(why?)
10-makes me feel like a KID

You have to treat your relationships like the a bank would treat you.... If you make two deposits and have written ten hot checks that you deposits does not cover is your bank going to keep you account opened? Hell no! Good luck finding the one
well since you have listed the cons & pros how much do you rate sex?
You can train a dog to listen to you but will they ever understand your language?
and there is a diffinate reason this man has not been married He sounds physicslly and emotionally abusive
Like I said it is like a checking account ... Do you really want to business with this man?

The generic answer to your question is "it depends upon what those two things are" If the 10 things are that he doesn't put the seat down, his feet stink, he leaves food open in the refridgerator, and the two things are he's good to you and looks at you like you're the only woman in the world, then you should stay.

But perhaps you're realizing that the relationship won't work. Relationships are about both the heart and the head. The heart "crazy about him" will eventually fade or morph into a different kind of love or companionship. The head "things he is and does" will eventually start driving you crazy.

If you're serious about continuing the relationship SERIOUSLY, then think with your heart and with your head. Or perhaps talk to him about some of the 10 things... if they're minor.

well, i'd say that depends. how serious are the cons? is he physically or psychologically violent towards you? then drop him! if he's ever hit you, the answer is clear. also, if he isn't faithful, but you don't want an open relationship, drop him. if he's controlling you and telling you with whom to hang out with and who not to see, leave him. also, if you feel pressurized to marry him, don't do it. you're only 23!
however, if the cons are just some things you and he don't share in common, that's no reason to drop him. in fact, it will probably make you're relationship more interesting if you're not like identical twins with identical lives and interests.
if you love him and there's a spark, stay.

To be honest, no. They say to always follow your heart but doing that can get you really hurt in the long run. It is up to you because by just asking this question you already have your answer.

I personally am also against robbing the cradle (10+ age difference) but everyone has a right to live their own life. Live it how you want but you have a right to be happy.

depends on what those two things are. Im sure sex is 1 of them and I am going to go out on a limb and say his money is the other thing you like about him!

and about the age thing: its ten years apart but Im sure that has never bothered any girl. maybe it can bother him because he doesnt want to hear about chris brown's new record, but I cant see it bothering you!

it depends on what those two things are and what the ten cons are the age differnce is big i mean age is a huge factor but then again it is after all hes 11 years older then you why not go out with someone more your own age or at least closer other than that though more info is needed to answer your question to its fullest

well it depends on what those 2 vs. 10 things are- are they something you can live with? In 5 years, do you think this will effect where YOU want to be? Do you love him or do you love the idea of him? think carefully and i know people say do what your heart tells you, but if there is a red flag going up in your mind DONT ignore it.

Does the good times outweigh the bad times in your relationship? If you love him and he loves you then you have to overlook SOME of his flaws. If the age thing matters that much to you then maybe you should think about the relationship because that's ONE thing that will never change. Good luck!

It depends on you...The 10 reasons to not be with him...can you live with them? Will you be up late at nite worrying about them? Will the reasons hurt you or someone else? Plus, there is a difference between love and infatuation. Maybe this is infatuation? Enjoy it either way!

You didn't say what the pros and cons are. If the cons are things like he has hairy toes then the pros might win out. On the other hand, in my experience, if you are having doubts enough to make a pros and cons list, then your heart really isn't in it.
