I am bi-po II. I really struggle with the depressive side most of the time. I only hit hypo-manic, when get on a mission, or have something to plan. After that I am exhausted, sometimes disappointed in the results, or, even if thing go well, I have a let-down, or remorse. So straight back to depression.

I can't work, don't like drama from outside people, and have terrible habits. However, my husband understands my illness and can work with me.

Yes I take meds, a mood stabilizer and an antidepressant, in a horse's dose. They help by keeping me away from the rock bottom and too high. They sure don't help with anxiety and that can intensify either mood.

My friend is type I. She stays manic most of the time, and struggles with it as hard as I do with my depression. Either way it is a life long illness. Every day is an adventure, so take them one at a time.

commonly what happens is somebody is clinically determined with significant melancholy considering it is whilst they pass in to be certain their well being care provider. sometime later (each and every so often some years later) the well being care provider unearths out approximately hypomanic episodes (we don't many times ***** because of the fact those are fairly relaxing) or the anti depressants reason mania or different issues and then the guy's prognosis is replaced to Bipolar 2. melancholy is a ingredient of Bipolar yet isn't a separate disease.

Major depressive disorder can be more controllable. It is also likely that one will fully recover. Bi-polar tends to be a lifelong illness. If the patient takes meds as directed both bi-polar one and two can live long productive lives.
