A crime is an act committed in violation of a law forbidding it and for which punishment is imposed upon conviction.
God is not bound by any law and cannot be convicted of any crime.
God is love and all of His (or Her) actions are guided by that love even when the very small minds of human beings do not clearly see that motive.
The entire Bible is a story of
+ God's love for humans
+ Humans constantly truning away from God
+ God constantly reaching out in love and forgiveness to humans
Jesus chided the Pharisees that they took the Bible too literally. Do not fall into the same trap.
Catholics believe that the Bible teaches truth about God but it is not historically factual at all times.
The Bible's primary purpose is to teach us the truth about God and His (or Her) love for us, not to teach facts about history or science.

Look at the crimes against your name. Possilbly lies, deciet, jelousy e.t.c then look at God. The perfect being whose actions we cannot understand. Look what Jesus did for us all, just read the bible.
