Heh hee.
Anyhow, stops laughing now. Hmm
Deut 23:9-14 :" Cleanliness is next to godliness " is not an Old Testament quote, as some think but the concept does have a Biblical basis. For the ancient Israelites, holiness was identified with hygiene. Only the ritually clean person could approach the Lord in worship. ( Ex 19:10-11, 30:18-21, Jos 3:5, Ps 51:7,10 )

Deuteronomy is a book in the Old Testament. 23 is the chaper. 13 is the verse. LOL why didn't you include what the scripture said? We don't all have a Bible right next to us here.

that was a hygiene law that saved the nation from many diseases that the other nations around them had.
They eliminated in the water then draw it up to cook and drink. We know now about germs and bacteria. But in those days they didn't . That was probably one of the best laws he ever gave them.
In those days more people died from infectious diseases than by any other means. He told them about not to eat grain in which a dead animal fell and rotted. Don't eat an animal you caught layng along side the road. Why? We know now about food poisoning. They could only eat what they killed.
they may have gripped that was to restrictive and they were hungry and why couldn't they eat it.
But we know now why he gave them that law and many of his other laws maybe we just don't fully understand the reasons right now. I always thought that proves the bibles inspiration.
No one in those days knew about hygiene.

Look at the Acid Zebra deliberately deceiving people. God says not to return the slave to his master but Acid Z forgot the next line;
Deuteronomy 23:16
He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
You God Bashers make me laugh!

He knew that people could get sick if this was not done. Just like the plumbing systems we have today, all because of knowing that leaving excretement uncovered, was harmful to the health.
