No idea. I live my life by the bible. Just because you do not believe it yourself does not mean that it is Ok to mock those that do.

It is a book that has nearly always been around and since time began people have lived by it. Even our basic rules of life are based on it. After all if it is fairytales then why do we think murder, adultery and stealing are wrong.

A book of fairy tales? How can you call the Bible that? I suppose you think we came from apes? If so, why haven't all apes evolved? Or maybe from a big explosion? Have you ever seen some thing after an explosion? Heaven & hell DO exist. Their is a God. Who else could possibly create the human body in all it's wonder? Man can't even put up a building without a floor plan.

It feals great! It is so historically acurate that people and events were named thousands of years in advance and out comes came true to the letter.
It holds every emotion and experience of mankind and openly discusses every mistake made and every advantage to doing things the way the Creator wanted.
If you built a house and rented it out and the tenants thumbed their nose at you while they did damage to it, would you kick them out?
Best of all it gives people a future hope in a confusing and hopeless time. The world around us will become the paradise the creator pomised and wanted. And we get to do the work. What could be better? What life more free of hidiouse errors, Painful mistakes and shame?
You should actually read it and study history with it and see for yourself.

I'm going to turn the question around here so you can understand something from the reader's perspective.

Your question is opinionated when you used the word fairytales. So, the question is not worth my time to answer because you won't agree with anyone's viewpoint. It also further divides people instead of making this a better place to participate.

Please kindly reword your question in a way, such as
Christians, why do you believe the Bible is real, instead of making us sound deluded.

You won't get any quality answers here, other than to prove your point. And you won't prove your point here, unfortunately.

What are you talking about? The bible is filled with fairytales? Does this mean I can get a refund for all those science courses I took in college?

Who is the author or authors of these "fairytales"? I've always wondered what atheists believe on the date(s) and author(s).

Careful study has shown that the Bible is the most accurate history book ever.

How does it feel to be uneducated?
