"But physical harm didn't exist in Eden."
I've seen people seriously maintain on here that yes, the earliest humans, Adam, Eve, and the kids, must have committed incest in order to propagate; but that's OK because at that early stage, Original Sin had not yet corrupted the genes, etc. Why try to speak to this mentality, even as a joke?
Even better: "God told them what to avoid." Of course.

Apparently childbirth is only really painful because of Eve as well. Even though I am 100% sure that ANY thing bigger than a peanut that tried to pass through a woman's cervix would cause real discomfort, Eve or not.
LOL.
Thank goodness intelligent Christians read the bible with discretion and discernment and not take EVERYTHING literally.

expensive Deito, i think of attachment is the unique sin. we predict of we are in a position to hold onto issues that have surpassed or to objectives that have on no account been. because of the fact the concepts can basically carry some separate issues it fairly is forced to connect different fears and desires into lumps. So we connect our objectives and fantasies into an entity we call our previous. This bags is being created each and every time we overlook appropriate to the cutting-edge certainty and get away into our day dream state. basically by applying evaluating this latest 2d to a different, the two the reminiscence of a prior experience or a delusion of a destiny experience, can we choose the 2d. it fairly is barely by applying such comparisons that we grow to know exhilaration and discomfort. because of the fact the previous is largely a reminiscence and the destiny is largely a delusion, basically the present 2d exists and this 2d is eternal. it is the reason we would desire to fill ourselves with the present 2d. a minimum of it is my cutting-edge understanding. i'm hoping I even have not misunderstood your question. _()_

there has always been pain it is a form of protection. It keeps us from putting our hand on a hot oven or object.
Pain is not a bad thing.
Animals move by instinct but they also experience pain as a protection.
the original sin was believeing the devil when he said you won't really die at all. God said, "If you eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and bad you will die"
Satan was lieing and therefore she did die.
It is not within man to know how to rule himself or others.
only God can tell us what is good and what is bad.
Wanting that for herself was the original sin.

Adam and Eve before original sin were covered in glowing light with the presence of God all around. In God's presence no physical harm can come to anyone.

There was no harm to avoid. Life in the garden was complete perfection, like heaven will be.

It is, of course, an illogical proposition that pain only began with 'original sin', and your question makes the point well.

I'm sorry I don't believe in the garden of Eden when Adam stubbed his toe it didn't hurt...what about his manhood...when he accidentally smacked it off the low hanging branch....had to hurt.

Exactly what "original sin" are you referring to? Do you have a scripture to support this idea?
